About Me.

I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Centre for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado. I am researching the impact of assimilating high-resolution cloud-top temperature observations on forecasting skill using the MPAS-DART system. Fan of all things running, coffee and weather!

Some things I've been up to.

Atmospheric Science Conference (November 2022), RMetS and NCAS

Presented the latest research on my PhD project at the Atmospheric Science Conference, jointly hosted by the Royal Meteorlogical Society (RMetS) and the National Centre for Atmospheric Science (NCAS).

Met Office Seminar (July 2022), Exeter

Hosting my very first (hybrid) seminar at the Met Office, discussing using refracted aircraft broadcasts to retrieve atmospheric refractivity and humidity.

Graduation (Class of 2021)

Me at my graduation ceremony at the University of Exeter in July 2022, after achieving a Class I degree in BSc Physics the previous year. I would return to continue working with the university and the Met Office on my current PhD topic.
